Kennedy Ryan’s new Skyland novel hits different. In Can’t Get Enough, she gives us Hendrix, brilliant, stubborn, and stretched thin between her sky-high career goals and taking care of her sick grandmother. Enter Maverick, a self-made billionaire who makes her wonder if she can actually have it all. Spoiler: life’s not that simple.
What makes this book stick with you isn’t just the sizzling chemistry (though trust me, it’s there). It’s how Ryan writes about the raw, unglamorous parts of love, the 3 AM hospital visits, the missed opportunities, the choices that keep you up at night. She gets that love isn’t just about the butterflies; it’s about showing up when things get hard.
The characters feel like people you know. Hendrix isn’t some perfect romance heroine; she’s messy, she makes mistakes, and sometimes she’s too proud for her own good.
